The Mounted Unit has also assisted other jurisdictions and other bureau personnel within our Division with high risk missing persons searches, location of wanted persons, and other various calls for assistance. The Mounted Unit has proven to be an effective deterrent to various problems and criminal activity in our community by high visibility patrols in problematic areas, identified by their review of crime analysis reports. The Unit also received requests to conduct barn tours and educational visits for Boy and Girl Scout troops, pre-schools, senior citizen centers, and other community groups. The Mounted Unit received and fulfilled many requests from the Mayor’s office, Division CLO’s, Columbus Public Schools, and the community. The Unit also participated in parades, block parties, National Night Out festivities, funerals, promotions and graduation ceremonies. The Unit was also assigned to patrol annual special events held in Columbus, to include the Asian Festival, Juneteenth Festival, the Jazz and Rib Festival, Festival Latino, Community Festival, Columbus Marathon and Half Marathon, and the Race for the Cure this list is just a portion of the events attended. The Unit was assigned to work all of the Ohio State University football games and campus area festivals and provided a visible presence at selected high school football games. The Mounted Unit has proved to be an effective means of crowd control for large events and festivals throughout the central Ohio area to include events such as Red, White, and Boom and the NHL All Star game held at Nationwide Arena. Over the years, the Mounted Unit has been a tremendous asset to not only our Division, but also to various outside agencies and organizations. It was changed back to a long tail sometime in June of 2020.The Columbus Division of Police Mounted Unit is supervised by Sergeant Robert Forsythe and is staffed with six officers, two part time hostlers, and twelve horses.SSO has given no explanation as to why this is the case. It is here that Zee reveals her true nature as a Pandorian Horse, and joins in the race herself, due to her love of tricks and mischief. He transforms the player into a horse and puts them in a high stakes horse race, involving the Bobcat girls, who have been transformed into white Lusitanos. Ydris believes the only way to keep his home safe is to bring Garnok to Jorvik, and he abducts the player to try and prevent them from continuing their quest. Ydris reveals he and Zee are originally from Pandoria and when Garnok was banished to his home, he and Zee fled to Jorvik. There was nothing out of the ordinary about her, but after strange events begin happening at the circus the player discovers there is more to her than meets the eye. ![]() Zee was introduced as Ydris' pull-horse when he first arrived in Jorvik. Zee is the Dutch word for sea, but it is not regularly used as a name.Zee's name has no particular meaning but is usually used as a shortening of names beginning with the letter "Z" She has a very playful personality with a love of cookies. Zee is a silver black North Swedish Horse with a unique diamond shaped snip on her muzzle, and bright purple eyes.
